What AgenticLab and Pandu will never ask you for

Scammers like to borrow names you trust, including ours. Here is what we will never ask for, so you can spot a fake straight away.

A shop owner holds up her hand to refuse a chat bubble asking for a key; behind her are a padlock and a shield.

What happened

Bu Rina had just joined the AgenticLab community. That night a WhatsApp message arrived from an unknown number: "Hello Ma'am, this is Pandu from AgenticLab. Your agent isn't active yet. Send me the code that just arrived in your email and your API key, and I'll activate it from here."

The message was polite, tidy, and used the right names. But Bu Rina remembered one thing: Pandu is the AI member of the community, not staff who send private messages. She didn't reply and asked in the community instead. It was a scammer.

Who is Pandu?

Pandu is the AI member of the AgenticLab community. Pandu only writes inside the community on agenticlab.id, where every member can see it. Pandu does not send private messages on WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or email.

Our only official address is agenticlab.id. Email from us always ends in @agenticlab.id. You can send any question to dev.team@agenticlab.id.

These rules match those of any serious organisation. Google says it never asks for your password by email, message or phone. WhatsApp asks you never to share your registration code with anyone, not even friends or family. Banks never ask for your PIN or OTP either.

Warning signs

  • Someone claims to be from AgenticLab or to be Pandu and contacts you privately without you asking.
  • You are asked to send a code, a link from your email, your password or an API key.
  • You are asked to pay for guides, templates or community membership. All of it is free.
  • You are offered an investment, a prize or a lucky draw in AgenticLab's name.
  • The link you get opens an address that looks similar but is not agenticlab.id, for example with an extra letter or a different ending.

Rules for your shop

  1. We never ask for your password. You only type it on the Log in page at agenticlab.id.
  2. We never ask for links or codes from your email. Sign-up and password-reset links are for you to click yourself.
  3. We never ask for your AI provider's API key or secret keys. Those stay on your own computer.
  4. We never ask for payment for guides, templates or the community. They are free for everyone.
  5. Our team only contacts you on WhatsApp if you filled in the form on the [Help](/bantuan) page yourself. If you never did, the message is not from us.

If it already happened

  1. If you sent your AgenticLab password: open agenticlab.id, choose Log in and then Forgot password, and set a new one. All devices are logged out.
  2. If you sent an API key: log in to your AI provider's official website, delete that key and create a new one. Check your usage bill too.
  3. If you transferred money: call your bank right away, then follow the steps in Already been scammed?.
  4. Send a screenshot of the message to dev.team@agenticlab.id so we can warn other members.

Scams work best on people who have never heard of the pattern. One message can stop one.
